The latest company to join Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) Membership is XS News.
The Dutch company gives quick and unlimited access to the Usenet - an international network of newsgroups whose main mission is to provide a free and decentralised platform for data and information exchange. XS News’ services offer unlimited speed and access to more than 200,000 newsgroups worldwide.
As a Member of the IWF, XS News will use IWF’s Newsgroup Takedown Service. Our Takedown Notices are immediate alerts we send out to newsgroup providers if we find child sexual abuse imagery on their services. This way, criminal content can be removed quicker and often at its source.

The IWF is part of the UK Safer Internet Centre, working with Childnet International and the South West Grid for Learning to promote the safe and responsible use of technology.
The ‘world first’ standards will help to ‘set and raise’ standards to prevent the upload and distribution of online child sexual abuse imagery.
