The threat protection and content filtering provider DNSFilter is latest Member to join Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) membership.
Based in the United States, DNSFilter offers cloud-based content filtering, threat protection and real time intelligence services to more than 1,600 trusted brands worldwide. DNSFilter is also the only web content filtering service which provides real-time domain categorisation. Since its inception, the company has blocked over 2.5 million threats, categorised almost 50 million domains, and served over 15 billion requests.
As a Member of the IWF, DNSFilter will now be using the URL List service, a list of webpages where child sexual abuse imagery is available. By using the URL List, DNSFilter will provide its customers with the most up to date way to protect their networks from child sexual abuse imagery online.

The ‘world first’ standards will help to ‘set and raise’ standards to prevent the upload and distribution of online child sexual abuse imagery.
