Thank you for visiting the IWF Annual Data and Insights Report. IWF’s primary goal is to remove and disrupt child sexual abuse imagery online, with the aim of eliminating it for good. We’re effective at this work because, in addition to taking reports from the public, we’re allowed to proactively search for this material.
We gather a lot of information about each instance of child sexual abuse online that we assess. This then generates the often-dynamic services that we provide to companies to stop the upload, storage, sharing and commercialisation of child sexual abuse online. It also enables us to pull our data and publish insights in our annual report each year. In 2024 we have taken a step back and refocused our report. This section explains what's different.
