Travelling Sex Offenders

Question: What is a travelling sex offender?
Answer: A travelling sex offender is a person who travels to a foreign country to sexually abuse children.

The Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre works to locate high risk child sex offenders and track registered offenders who have failed to comply with their notification requirements under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.  This includes tracking offenders who travel abroad by either disrupting or preventing their travel, disseminating intelligence to international forces and specifically targeting offenders while they remain overseas.

Question: I have concerns/information about a travelling sex offender, where I can I report it?
Answer: If you are aware of someone who is travelling aborad with the intention to sexually abuse children you should report this to your local police force.
