IWF Response to apComms Inquiry on Internet Traffic
The IWF submitted its response to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Communications Inquiry on Internet Traffic on 22 May 2009. Our response focused on question four of the inquiry: “Is the current global approach to dealing with child sexual abuse images working effectively? If not, then how should it be improved?”

UK adult internet users: 2008 research report
Research was commissioned by the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) in September 2008 to provide insight and information on the public's awareness of the IWF and its work, public perceptions of issues associated witht the IWF and its role and public opinion on wider issues outside the IWF's specific role.

IWF Welcomes CEOP’s 3rd Annual Review
CEOP reports that 139 children were safeguarded in the last 12 months while over 700 suspected offenders have been arrested since the organisation was launched in April 2006. 334 suspected offenders were arrested in the last year alone.

IWF reports global decrease in child sexual abuse websites
The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) has published its Annual Report 2008 revealing a fall of nearly 10% in the number of international websites with child sexual abuse content. The report warns against complacency, pointing to the serious nature of the images which are often carried on commercial websites.

IWF Announces New Independent Chair
